A combination of bow and southern melodies, walking bass and rasgeados. Southern rhythms, love for detail and silence, always present in between the notes…

Random musical encounters between Wim Cops and Ruben Appermont quickly led to a conscious cooperation. Their backgrounds in Flamenco, Classical, Jazz music and Tango breathe through their own work and through cooperating with other musicians, dancers and word artists. Alma de Lágrimas became the ideal platform for their musical vision and excellent performance.
